For the last two weeks Coldplay song “Fix you” has been stuck in my head. It’s like a life poem repeating in my brain over and over again. It is hard to let go of things that hurt you in the past. The beauty of it is that you don’t always have to do it alone.

Yes, I lost my mother. She could never be replaced, and after her death I fought for my existence. Getting what you want is not always what you need, while it’s a battle not everybody seem to be able to come back from. We lose things in life, love goes to waste, and sometimes we feel we are stuck in reverse. Down the end of the line though, we are not alone in this life. One day all pieces of the puzzle will be complete, and someone will try to be there for you every step of the way – and fix you.

“When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you”

(Coldplay, 2005)
