Living in California it is not difficult to leave your footprint in the sand. Fairly often I enjoy the long, beautiful Californian beaches. I walk around for hours sometimes watching my footsteps being washed away by the Pacific Ocean.. It’s peaceful, but it brings back memories too.

There was a poem my mother loved, a poem that gave her strength in this difficult time. We lived in a very small village with kind neighbors. Some of our neighbors were religious and they brought strength into our house in a way they knew best. They sang beautiful songs for my mother and gave her this poem:
